Heather has worked so hard on Spot and Fluff over the years from her humble beginnings in her garage to now in the beautiful Salon space specially designed with your pets utmost comfort in mind. We are honoured to be stepping into Heather's shoes and keep providing everyone in the local area with only the highest of standards in grooming and pet care.

I’m a mother of 2 cheeky (human) kids!! I also have 4 horses, 5 cats and 2 dogs (not to leave out my darling chickens also of course!!)
I owned and operated Scratch and Sniffs Grooming as a very successful grooming salon in Melbourne for 7 years until Covid had us close our doors in 2020. I moved to beautiful East Gippsland after Covid and I’ve had some time away from grooming to grow as a person and also my skill set.
I am a qualified large and small animal vet nurse and have been a practice manager to a very busy clinic in NSW. I have my certificate in feline grooming (my specialty!) I also have my certificate in pet grooming, teaching certificate and a bachelor in eastern medicine, specialising in acupuncture and massage, both canine and equine.
I have been featured on Prime Time TV shows including “The Project” and “Sunrise” I’ve also been featured in the Herald Sun and done many many radio interviews about my cat grooming.
I have participated in many hands on practical clinics to improve my skill set over the years such as Asian fusion, hand stripping and feline handling clinics. I have incorporated them all into my signature style. I can’t wait to show you some of my work and hope you all welcome the smooth handover Heather and I have planned.
Moving Forward
We will be re-branding to our own business name "Scratch And Sniffs Grooming" however everything else will run the same with the same friendly service that Heather provided.
As we will welcome my partner Sam into the salon we will have more availability for new clients. We will also continue to have Nora with us and are so grateful for that too.
- New clients are welcome however prices will remain the same. Cancellation fees/late fees will apply as will a behaviour fee. If you know your pet is difficult it is imperative you let us know so we can allocate the appropriate time to work with your pet.
We will be open Monday through Friday with alternating half day weekends.
